First impression. Unclean. Table tops were not clean and ready for use. Grill area - Filthy. Bathrooms were awful 😖. The cashier was not customer friendly. She didn't even ask, "Welcome, may I help you?" I ordered a Tex Mex Burrito. The bell peppers were not sauteed. Absolute no no. I also ordered Chicken Asado Burrito but received the wrong order on that one. Got Carne Asado instead. Salsa bar is not really a salsa bar. It was slim pickens. Limes were dry AF. Onion cilantro mix lacked much cilantro. Habenero salsa tasted too much like tomatoes with no real flavor. I'm not impressed but curious about their breakfast items. However, I'm a bit hesitant as my first experience was a bit unpleasant.

I ordered a take away order today. It was my first time in as a customer. I was excited to try out the food, but the staff need to work on their customer service. My order was ready except for the drinks. When they go to fill the drinks, I hear ice; however, I specifically asked for no ice when I placed the order. I had to repeatedly say “no ice” until she could hear me. When she finally heard me, the other workers looked at her as if she was upset. One other worker said I didn’t have that in my order. I told her that I did. When they give me my drinks, I was perplexed because I ordered 32 oz drinks and not 16 oz drinks. I’m pretty sure I over paid and didn’t receive the right size drinks. When I said if these were the right size, the girl looked confused and said yes. When I asked what size were the larger ones, she just said “those are the large”. I’m certain the “large” are the 32 oz drinks and not what I received. This is very disappointing as I’ve heard good things about this place, but if this is how they treat their customers, then I won’t be returning or recommending people here. In addition, when I’m outside putting my order in my car, I could see the workers looking outside at me laughing. Ridiculing customers shouldn’t be an automatic reaction to their mistakes. I was nice despite their rudeness. If you do order from here, make sure you check your order and submit a complain if applicable.

I've had Catrina's once before at their Jenks location and we really enjoyed it so we thought we'd give it another shot in Owasso. We were not disappointed! The burritos are HUGE! Like big enough for two meals. I like their habanero salsa but the flavor didn't seem to be as good as I remembered from last time. Not a big deal though. This time I got the Al Pastor and my wife had a Machaca (egg and shredded beef). Mine was good but honestly I liked hers far better! The Al Pastor was soft and sorta got lost in the beans and rice in the burrito. He shredded beef had a great flavor and had more structure and chew to it. They were both great though and we enjoyed ourselves just as much as last time. We will return!

The food is amazing. Has that SoCal/ Baja Mexican flavor. Definitely worth the visit!

Went to Catrina' Fresh Mex in Owasso the other day, looking for something different. Went with the Calaca Steak Fries. Servers were really friendly and the place was small, but really clean. The food was good, with everything well seasoned. I will confess, it missed the mark somewhat once the toppings were eaten and I was left with half a container of soggy, cold fries. That said, what I did eat was more than enough for lunch. Not sure how to solve the problem with so many fries compared to the toppings. It was good, but not sure I'd order it again.
